Week three was the first night with myself as the only female singer! I wasn’t looking forward to it but luckily I only had a few songs! I absolutely loved singing Natalie and Vincent’s Paso! All the songs I had last night were not necessarily the sort I’d sing outside of Strictly but I love having to try different styles!
With there being so many contestants this year the workload is quite heavy. We were rehearsing from 9.15 yesterday and when the boys have to belt out things like Queen and Bon Jovi continuously till Showtime you really need to pace yourself.
As soon as one show finishes you start to think about the next one! I can’t wait to see what songs we get next! As you start to get to know the dancers you become more aware of what you’re likely to get next. I wasn’t surprised when I saw ‘because the night’ was for Brendan’s routine, he always seems to have meatloaf or the big 80’s ‘rock’ anthems.
On a separate note, my wonderful Grandparents came to see the show for their 60th wedding anniversary and my Nan in particular was very happy at the kisses she received from Vincent and Mathew!
P.S. Ricky Whittle's trousers around the bottom area were very tight! Remember where we sit!!
